Zeke Hausfather

Zeke Hausfather is the climate research lead for Stripe. He is also a research scientist at Berkeley Earth and a science contributor to climate change website Carbon Brief. As a climate scientist and Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change lead author, Hausfather’s research focuses on observational temperature records, climate models, carbon removal, and mitigation technologies. He was previously the director of climate and energy at the Breakthrough Institute and, before that, lead data scientist at Essess. Earlier in Hausfather’s career, he was chief scientist at C3.ai and the co-founder and chief scientist of Efficiency 2.0. Hausfather holds a doctorate in climate science from the University of California, Berkeley.
